The Queenscliffe Neighbourhood House Gallery is hosting an inspiring exhibition by Bellarine artists Silvana Benacchio and Beverley Exell.
Silvana Benacchio is a multi media artist. She explores the hidden worlds of disconnection and connection; within the natural world and also within herself, seeing the two concepts as intertwined. Through her work, Silvana highlights the imperative need to care and respect both ourselves and the environment. Beverley Exell likes to experiment with a variety of mediums, including watercolour, acrylic and calligraphy as she is eternally curious to see what comes. Intrigued by calligraphy, she says: ‘It is the dance of ink to communicate language’. Beverley also creates handmade leather bound journals.
