GENEALOGY

Genealogy - Discover the story of your family history with Mark Hoysted
Genealogy is a fascinating activity requiring only a large dose of curiosity and some time, to find out about your family. Whether you are just starting out or if you are already researching, this 6 week course will provide you with all the tools to trace your family history and ancestors.
Genealogists have calculated that if you trace your family back for 10 generations starting with your parents, you will discover a total of 2,046 ancestors – all directly related to you! Who knows who is waiting to be discovered amongst those many ancestors.
Mark has taught genealogy to groups on the Bellarine for the past three years. He has a passion for researching and writing history and encouraging others to learn about their family histories.
