New! The Power of Play Across the Lifespan This practical workshop will shine a light on how important it is to play. In the words of George Bernard Shaw, “We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” As our world becomes more complex and stressful, making time for play is absolutely crucial. Play increases our endorphins and is a wonderful way to relieve stress and build vitality. Play improves our brain functioning and memory. Play brings out our creative energy and helps us to connect with others. This workshop will briefly touch on the research and then explore ways in which we can bring play to life into our everyday lives. Sat 24th July 9.30 – 12.00 pm Cost: $50/ $45 HCC Book: https://www.trybooking.com/BSBPB New! Growing Gratitude This hands-on workshop will look at Gratitude and how it can contribute to our wellbeing. We can actively grow an ‘attitude of gratitude’ in our lives through awareness and practice. The wellbeing science on gratitude is extensive and shows strong links between gratitude and happiness. During the workshop, we will participate together in creating a QNH Gratitude Board and then we’ll do a gratitude journalling exercise, exploring how we can actively bring gratitude to life everyday. Participants will leave with lots of creative ideas and their own Heliotropia gratitude journal. Sat 7th August, 9.30 – 12.00 pm Cost: $50/ $45 HCC Book: https://www.trybooking.com/BSBPG
