Electric Vehicles with Stuart Miller Design Solutions & friends 
Are you thinking of buying an electric vehicle but don’t know what to look for? Do you want to know how far you can travel, charging options and what technology is being installed now to support our transition to driving cleaner, greener cars? Are you thinking of a new or used vehicle and want to save fuel and maintenance costs?  
 Join Stuart Miller, a passionate electric vehicle user, and find out about innovations in batteries and charging stations that are game changers. You will also get to check out a number of electric vehicle models such as the Nissan Leaf which will be on display at QNH as part of the talk.

Learn to Propagate and Grow Local Native Plant Species    
Join Sarah Roberts at Queenscliffe Indigenous Nursery and learn to propagate local indigenous plants. In this workshop you will learn a range of propagation techniques including seed germination, division and cuttings. You will learn how to prepare propagation media, and maintain your propagated plants until they are ready for planting out. By the end of 5 weeks, you will be able to apply this knowledge at home for growing other types of plants such as vegetables and exotics.  
 
October 19th to November 23rd 
Tuesdays 9.00am – 12.00pm (BYO snack)   
Cost: $150 / $130 HCC (Includes materials and students will be able to take some seedlings home)
